Fall Shiai 2010

On Sunday September 26,2010 Classic Martial Arts held its annual fall Shiai (fun tournament). Participants from Barrie, Richmond Hill, Huntsville and Bolton attended this exciting event.

Natalie Pecora won 1st in kata, 1st in weapons, 3rd in grappling and 4th in sparring.

Puneet Gill, in his first tournament, cane in 1st in kata, 1st in weapons 2nd in grappling and 3rd in sparring.

Mac Benitz took 1st in kata, 1st in weapons, 3rd in grappling and 5th in sparring.

In our Adult Division:

Dwyane Cunningham cane in 1st in kata and 1st in weapons.

Tim Bilton took 2nd in kata and 3rs in grappling.

Lee McLaughlin took 3rd in kata, 2nd in weapons, 4th in sparring and 5th in grappling.

In our Black Belt Division:

Brian Francis took 2nd in weapons and 4th in kata.

Michael Fraser took 3rd in weapons and 5th in kata.

Classic Martial Arts was established on September 26, 1995. This event coincided with our proud 15th Anniversary of training students in Traditional Goju Ryu Karate and Kitsune Ryu Jiu Jitsu, while serving the commmunity in various charities and fund raisers.

Congratulations to all the competitors and our fellow students who took part in making the Shiai a success!
